Susan Marie Cuffin, 68 of Ross Township, lost her brave battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Sue was born and grew up in Pittsburgh, lived in Crafton, Bethel Park, and most recently Ross Township for 32 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business at Robert Morris University, worked at Merck for many years and then had a wonderful and rewarding career at Four Systems and then Marconi. She retired at 54 years old and began traveling with her best friends to many places around the world while working on her bucket list of things to see and do.

She is survived by Frank (love of her life for 23 years),  her brother Thomas (the late Susan) North, her sister Patricia (Dave) Frost, and many friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Julia North, and her husband Larry Cuffin.

Thank you to everyone who loved Sue and supported us during her illness. Special thanks to Frank who loved her deeply every day and did not leave her side. Also, thank you to the Hillman Cancer Center and the therapy department at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless for their care and compassion. She was always kind and generous to everyone and will forever be in our hearts.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Sue.

Oh no Sue, you were so wonderful. I'm so sad to learn this terrible news. We worked together at Marconi until she retired. She sure loved Frank, little Frankie, and her traveling girl crew. She always had stories of wonderfuladventures. I'm so sorry for the loss you all are experiencing. Cathy Mooney
