Susan Rose Zankel

Susan Rose Zankel, age 63, of Crafton Heights, formerly of Oakwood, passed away on December 28, 2025. Born on August 2, 1962, she was the beloved daughter of the late Virginia and Charles “Tom” Rose.

Susan was the devoted wife of Robert “Bob” Zankel,  sharing many loving years. She was a cherished sister to Tim, Dot, Kathy, and Dan, and sister-in-law to Tom, Jr., Ken and Scott as well as a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Susan had a deep love for music and found great joy in listening to her favorite songs and playing the jukebox with her friends, bringing her happiness and laughter and created lasting memories for those around her.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family and friends, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
