Dear Dave, Dave and Gretchen and families, I am so, so sorry to hear of the passing of your lovely mom who always lit up the room with her beautiful eyes (that you ALL inherited!) and perfect smile. I have the fondest memories of her kindness all throughout my childhood. And it was always a super nice surprise to run into her and your dad when we visited my parents in town. Your mom never seemed to age in all these years; always appearing as the same wonderfully warm and kind woman. I wish you peace during this very difficult and heart breaking time; and hope the memories of her living her life with such grace and kindness will comfort you. Much love, Jennifer (Maffei) Sawant Chicago, IL

When I think of Suzette I always smile and laugh about something she did or said. She was perpetually youthful, always smiling and always beautiful! Art and I truly enjoyed spending time with both she and David this past summer in SC. Lunch was wonderful and she was in top form...we laughed and had fun. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Taken too soon, we will always love and miss her. Praying for comfort for all of you that she was taken into the arms of our Lord during this most sacred time of the Easter season. She will always be a shining star...in our hearts and in the Heavens. May she rest in peace. Much love... Art & Ann

That smile says it all. And her laugh. I can't believe I can hear it to this day. So sorry for the loss of this beautiful wife and mother. Sorrow for Dave as this was a match made in heaven where we all meet up one day, hopefully. Our beginnings are full of hope, our endings are full of sadness....but the in between the lines is the story that we write and keep with us forever. Sincere condolences to Dave and his family.
