Terry Lynn Moss (Boyd), 63, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born on October 7, 1959, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Theresa Drilak Boyd of Canonsburg and the late David C. Boyd.

Terry was a 1977 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. Shortly after graduation, she started her career with Western Center and upon permanent closure of the hospital, she transferred to Mayview State Hospital. After 31 years of service, she retired in 2008. Following her retirement, she worked part-time at Sarris Candies and Edible Arrangements.

Terry enjoyed camping, Pittsburgh Steelers football, playing dice and cards, Bingo, shopping, baking Christmas cookies, decorating, and spending as much time as she could with her family and her grandchildren.

On March 14, 1996, she married Joseph Moss Sr., who survives.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are her step-children, Kimberley Labella (Moss) of Washington, Gina Goettman (Nick) of Cuddy, and Joseph Moss Jr. (Rachel) of Washington; two brothers, David Boyd (Lynn) of Naples, FL and Robert Boyd of Canonsburg; two sisters, Christy Boyd of Washington, and Pamela Bioni (Michael) of Canonsburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alec, Giada, Vincenzo, Carlito Jr., Katarina, Skylar, Chase, Owen, Joey, and Emma, who were the absolute light of her life. She also leaves behind her Goddaughter Juliann Richardson, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Monica Gavazzi and her two brothers, Kenneth Boyd and Christopher Boyd.

At the family’s request, all services will be held privately. There will be a Celebration of Life organized at a later date.
