Thaddeus “Ted” Malloy

Thaddeus “Ted” Malloy, 92, of Prosperity, PA, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026.

Born on April 5, 1934, Ted was the beloved son of the late Francis and Genevieve Malloy. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend to many.

Ted was the beloved husband of the late Audrey Malloy, with whom he shared 66 wonderful years of marriage. He was the loving father of Marc (Kim), Mary (William), and Christine. He was the cherished grandfather of Jessica (Reba), William, Mackenzie, and Keeley, and proud great-grandfather of Karlie and Mack.

Ted is also survived by his dear sisters, Maryann and Patricia. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Francis, and Howard.

Known affectionately as “The Track Man,” Ted was a world-renowned designer of equine racetracks whose work and expertise earned admiration throughout the industry. Outside of his professional accomplishments, Ted enjoyed golfing and spending time experimenting with internet recipes, sometimes good and sometimes not so good.

Ted’s left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
