Theodore “Dude” Green Sr., 82 of Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at the Donnell House on December 30, 2025.

He was born on June 18, 1943, to the late Mary Gostic and Theodore Wesley Green.

He was the loving companion of Maureen Graner and a devoted father to Theodore Green Jr. and Jay Green. He was a cherished grandfather to Miranda Green, Serena Green, Brittany Green Cook (Chandler), and Jack Green.  He was a dear brother to Mary Jane (Frank) Freno, the late Jack Green and Delores Green Griffin, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ted proudly served for the US Army National Guard, obtaining an honorable discharge.  He worked a career as a welder for McGraw Edison/Cooper Power in Canonsburg.

Dude found great happiness in the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting, with muzzleloader season holding a special place in his heart as it was often shared with his son Jay. He also loved fishing with his sons and grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. At home, he could often be found playing cards with Maureen, tending to his garden, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Theodore will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

All services will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.
