Thomas A. Pawlak

Thomas A. Pawlak, age 93 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on January 31, 2022. Born on August 16, 1928, he was the son of the late Leo and Marie Pawlak. Beloved husband to Pauline Pawlak for 68 years. Loving father of Mary Ann (Michael) Pauline and Mark (Sue) Pawlak. Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Matthew, and Dean. Loving great grandfather of Riley Sturtevant. Thomas was preceded in death by Leona Harkins, Martin Pawlak, Frances Pawlak and Clara Hons.

Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He was an avid WWII history documentarian and was a vivid story teller. He enjoyed gardening and reading and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Internment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with immediate family only. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
