Thomas Fogle, beloved husband, father, son and brother, passed peacefully on Saturday the 1st of November at Canonsburg Hospital. Thomas was born June 17, 1955 in Northampton, PA to the late Theodore and Ferne (Bachman) Fogle. He graduated from American University with a Master’s in Administration of Justice where he met his late wife Carla (Denton) Fogle. They were married for 38 years before she passed. Thomas served as an officer in the military intelligence branch of the US Army before having a long career as a Vice President and President in the security industry. One of his favorite hobbies was to watch the Yankees play baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially at his North Carolina house on Lake Norman. He found peace in living on the lake. He was a spiritual, generous and hard working man who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sisters, Susan Reyer and Cathy Domitrovitch, his daughters, Casey Carr and Becky Darby, his sons-in-law, Matt Carr and Justin Darby, as well as his 4 beautiful grandchildren, Avery and Mia Darby and Everett and Autumn Carr. His family is grateful for all the time they were able to spend with him during his brave battle with stage 4 cancer. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or a local Hospice organization.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Tom in the electronic security industry in Charlotte for several years. Tom was a person of integrity and a dedicated leader whose presence made a difference in our lives. Sending deepest condolences and wishing peace and comfort to Tom’s family and friends.

Since Carla’s diagnosis with ALS so many years ago until Tom’s passing, he endured life challenges that would break any human. Yet, he never lost his love of life and family, compassion for others, and his sense of humor and the ability to laugh. May he have fair winds and following seas on this next journey because he’s clearly earned a peaceful trip into the next life.
