Thomas M. Vankirk

Thomas M. Vankirk, age 80, of Washington, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at The Washington Hospital on May 12, 2024.

Born on January 12, 1944, he was the son of the late Juanita and Bud Gallagher.

Beloved husband of the late Sue Vankirk; loving father of Brad (Linda) Vankirk, Cynthia Vankirk and Stephanie Vankirk; cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; dear brother of Robert (Margie) Beard and Fred (Susan) Gallagher; also survived by many extended family members.

Thomas was an avid fisherman, being a member of the Washington chapter of Bassmasters. He enjoyed hunting, photography, motorcross and was a great friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 6:00 pm held on Point View Church, 55 Point View Dr., Washington, PA 15301.
