Tina Elizabeth Lee Shrader, age 47, of Washington, PA, passed away on Saturday July 24th, 2021 at the Greenery Nursing Home in Canonsburg, PA after a long and difficult 15 year fight against multiple sclerosis.

Tina, born on February 16, 1974 was the oldest of three daughters (Jayme, Dawn) from her mother Cheryl and father Donald White. Tina attended and graduated from Trinity High School in 1992 where she practiced dancing, gymnastics and cheerleading, and excelled well in her classes.

In high school she worked at a local restaurant, Bonanza, where she met her future husband of 8 years, John Nathan Shrader Jr. By 1992 they were married with their first child on the way. After separating, she stayed a strong single woman supported by her children and friends. She was a stay at home mom, who took joy in the care of her children and home.  She loved filling the home with nature, including her favorite plants, bamboo and spider plants (or spider babies as she called them), animals and lots of colorful, eccentric decor. Tina loved her animals, she had multiple ferrets, a parakeet, a rabbit, and cats.

Tina was a very artistic and creative personality that shined through the color changing of her hair and the hobbies she enjoyed.  She painted, sketched and crafted many things during the ups and downs of her struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Tina is survived by both of her two children, Shaylynne Nicole (Shawn) Hunter, and John Nathan (Emily) Shrader III and her Grandson John Nathan Shrader IV. Her mother, Cheryl White and her father Donald White, her two sisters Jayme (TJ) Hood, and Dawn (Josh) Nelson. She is also survived by her Grandmother Betty J. White, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Deceased are grandparents James and Betty Martino. Donald White SR. and her aunt, Marilyn Swantek.

Family and friends are welcome to join her memorial on Thursday, July 29th from 6 PM to 7 PM located at the Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care located at 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.

Tina, I will never forget all of our fun summer memories including watching “The Boy Who Could Fly” over and over again, Loving Poison and their color “Green” being your favorite color, then how could I forget all of our fun times at Bonanza and those endless summer nights in Walnut Ridge! Now you can finally move with ease and fly with the angels! Xo
