My deepest sympathy, Doreen & Andy and all of Val's family & friends. We were childhood neighbors and continued the connection to this day. I'm so glad that we got to visit on my last trip home. Many laughs, memories and pictures were shared... as well as watching our beloved "Stillers" play. Val had a warm smile, infectious laugh & great stories & lessons to share. Her deep faith was evident as she relished each day & accepted whatever twists & turns life offered. What a beautiful attitude & example she demonstrated and we can aspire to... I found this quote many years ago supposedly by Dickens, which rings true... "...and can it be that in a universe so vast, the loss of one creature...makes a void so deep, that nothing but the breadth & width of all eternity can fill.' Val, you will not be forgotten...'til we all meet again. God bless you & rest in peace.
