Violet M. Eck

Violet M. Eck, age 94, of Palmerton, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Eck, Jr.; cherished mother of Sallyann (Dale) Hahn, Karen (Christopher) Yoder, Donna (Daniel) Sommers, and  Trudy (Gregory) Curry;  grandmother of Dale “Artie” Hahn, Derek Hahn, Kristy (Tim) Jansen, Elizabeth Yoder, Vincent Sommers, Dawn (Kenny) Jackson, and Justin (Kathleen) Curry; great-grandmother of Ariel, Joshua, and Addison; also survived 5 siblings. Violet touched many people with her work as a foster parent, a CNA in geriatric care, and spent many hours volunteering her time and energy for many important causes.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 11:00am-1:00pm followed by a 1:00pm Funeral Service both at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Project Linus 614 Weyman Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
