Virgil Sams

Virgil Sams, 65, of Carnegie, passed away on May 24, 2024, with his family by his side.

Virgil was born in Carnegie on October 24, 1958, to the late Ellen and Virgil Sams.

Virgil was the beloved husband of his soulmate Maureen Sams, loving father of Leyland (Alexandra Hamilton) Sams and Pierce Sams, dear brother-in-law of Christine (David) Muzik, Daniel (Colleen) Michalski, Theodore Michalski Jr., and James (Kristen) Michalski. Virgil is also survived by his four nieces, three nephews and one great-niece.

Virgil was preceded in death by his sister, Jessie May Sams.

Virgil found joy in watching movies, especially Star Trek. His free time was often spent fishing, but his greatest pleasure was in the company of his family, sharing in the experiences that life had to offer. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
