Virginia Andy Agostinelli, age 92 of Houston, PA, formerly of Washington, PA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Born on February 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Angela Andy. Beloved wife to the late Philip Agostinelli. Loving mother of Rita Jo Agostinelli and Philip (Laurie) Agostinelli. Loving sister to Betty Cargnello and Albert Andy. Dear grandmother to Megan (Nathan Mast) Criswell, Briane Agostinelli, Chelsea Agostinelli, and Philip Josh Agostinelli. Loving great-grandmother to Paxton Angelo Mast. Virginia is preceded in death by her daughter Susan Agostinelli Criswell, her grandson Tyler Criswell and many brothers and sisters.

Virginia enjoyed bingo and the casino. She loved cooking and wrote a family cookbook titled “Nonna’s Favorite Recipes.” She also loved to watch game shows like Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and Family Feud with her dogs. Virginia will be missed by all.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 5 PM – 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. Additonal viewing will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 12:30 PM until time of service at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Dear Megan, I can remember as if it were yesterday, meeting your Nonna. What a sweet lady! I have eliminated most all of my cookbooks, but will always cherish the one she wrote that you gave to me. It's hard losing someone so dear to you. You have my deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Monica Saporito
