I am deeply saddened to hear of Walt's passing. He was truly an amazing man and had such a kind heart. Him and I shared an unspoken connection with both of us being veterans. I always looked forward to him visiting me at work. He would bring me Veteran Benefits books and documents and I would bring him home made chili and other special dishes. We often swapped old "war stories" and I truly enjoyed his company. He even joined me for Christmas one year when I lived in PA and even had dinner with me and my father before I left for Massachusetts. He will forever hold a special place in my heart and I wish I could be there in PA to attend his services. My heart felt condolences go out to all of his family and friends. He will be forever missed by so many.
