Wanda Jedrzejczak Dudzik

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wanda Jedrzejczak Dudzik, who went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2024 at the age of 96.

She was born in Canonsburg, Pa on March 27, 1928, the daughter of the late Mary (Jozwiak) and John Jedrezejczak.

She was schooled in Canonsburg’s only schoolhouse through 8th grade and then graduated from Trinity High School. In 1948 she married the late Alexander Leonard (Larry) Dudzik.

Wanda was known for her pride in her family and church, her wonderful loving heart and unwavering strength. She touched countless lives with her love, kindness, generosity and spirit and gave beautiful, crocheted afghans to everyone she loved. She donated countless hours of time at her church and with meals on wheels.. Wanda was well known in the community and admired by all.

Wanda is survived by her sister Helen Flanagan, children: Larry Dudzik and Roberta Moore Dudzik , Darlene Dudzik Horvath and Russ Hinson, Christine Dudzik Schwartzmiller and Richard Schwartzmiller Jr and the late Mary Kathleen Ramsey. Grandchildren, Ian Ramsey, Jessica and Justin Bray, Erin and Michael Schidlmeier, David and Nicole Marx, Mackenzie and Nicolas Guiliano, RJ and Mikayla Schwartzmiller, Madison Schwartzmiller, Alexander Dudzik, Joel Dudzik, Tracey Ramsey, Amy and Bruce Connor and her “partner-in-crime” fur baby Oakley. Wanda also had twelve great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her brother Lou Donner, and sisters Edna Gueltzow, Jennie Schmidt and Lottie Thurmond.

At the family’s request, burial will be private, all arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care.

Donations may be made to Meadowlands Methodist Church at P.O. Box 126, Meadowlands, PA 15347 or the Washington County Humane Society or Angel Ridge Animal Rescue in honor of Wanda J Dudzik. These were all organizations close to Wanda’s heart.

Wanda’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
