Wayne Edward Paul, age 75 Bethel Park, South Park, PA passed away on April 10, 2020. Born on March 24, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA he is the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve Paul. He was the beloved husband on Millie Ann Paul. Loving Father of Nina Nuttall (Edmund Nuttall, husband) and Brittany Gaetano (Matthew Gaetano, husband); brother of  the late Joseph Paul (Linda Paul, wife), Barbara Veraldi (Joseph Veraldi, husband) and John Paul (Cynthia Paul, wife). Cherished grandfather of Mia Gaetano and Cole Gaetano.

Wayne went to Millersville University in Lancaster, PA. After graduation in 1968, he started teaching at Bethel Park School District where he taught for 35 years, retiring in 2003. He coached multiple sports teams in Bethel Park School District for many years of his career. Wayne loved being a teacher, coach and mentor to many students, friends and family. He could be found at the bingo hall with his wife or on the golf course with friends.  He was always helping his family and friends. He created a home filled with love, kindness, and respect.

Due to the current events of our world, we will be waiting to have a Celebration of Life ceremony followed by a bingo fundraiser to donate in Wayne’s name to the AHN Cancer Program. Information to follow when the time is right.

Sincere sympathies to Millie and the entire Paul family. Wayne & Millie were the best neighbors I ever had ! Wayne often helped as I struggled with the snow blower or mower. He would basically just do it himself sending me inside! If a storm blew up he would show up at my door straight away to retrieve our terrified Brittany :). Millie would often show up with fresh fruit for breakfast just because! Miss you all and praying for you at this difficult time.

I’m sorry for your family’s loss. He was a teacher of mine in the mid 1990s. My interest in math blossomed in middle school with his encouragement. I am now a math teacher and I frequently think of him and the influence he had on me in the career I chose to pursue.
