William A. Plata, age 74, of Sheraden, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021. Beloved husband of Judie Bednar Plata; father of William (Stephanie) Plata, Leiane Plata, Dawn Plata, and Joshua (Jennifer) Plata; step-father of Katie (Josh) Nordeen and Michael (Megan) Leschak; also survived by 9 grandchildren; brother of Robert Plata, Patricia (Glenn) Kovach, Peggy Murphy, Ted (Barbara) Plata, Ed Plata, Ronnie Plata; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends welcome on  Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 2:00-5:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America 8719 Colesville Road, Suite 100 Silver Springs, MD 20910 or at  www.vva.org
