William “Bill” A. Queiser, 79, of McMurray, passed away on March 22, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born February 4, 1947, Bill was raised in Crafton and remained rooted in Pittsburgh throughout his life.

Bill was the son of the late Virginia and Arthur Queiser. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Olivia Palmieri, his sister-in-law Peggy Queiser, and his first wife, Mary Anne Tapparo Queiser.

Bill dedicated 29 years of service to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a member of the Pennsylvania State Police, retiring with the rank of Sergeant. He was deeply proud of his career and the opportunity to serve his community. Bill also served in the United States Army Reserves.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Dona Ceccarelli Queiser; his daughters Jennifer (Steve) Laudenbach and Shelley Queiser; his granddaughter Mary Anne Haun; and his step-grandchildren Zack and Jaelynn Laudenbach. He is also survived by his brother Arthur Queiser and his brother-in-law Mark Palmieri, along with nieces and extended family members. Bill and his family were also grateful for the kindness and friendship of his wonderful neighbors who were always there for him.

Above all, Bill believed that family always came first, and he treasured the time spent with them especially on the many trips they shared. Some of his favorite memories included traveling to Oktoberfest and taking an Alaskan cruise. Though he loved the destinations, he often said the best part of every trip was simply being together.

He enjoyed golf and, just as much, the camaraderie of the 19th hole afterward. He was also a lifelong Pittsburgh sports fan and a devoted Steelers season ticket holder for more than 50 years. At home, he was a lover of animals and cherished his beagles, Oscar and Riley, as well as the many cats that were part of the family over the years.

Despite his long battle with Parkinson’s disease, he never let it define him. Bill maintained his love for life, sense of humor and remarkable resilience, staying true to himself until the very end.

His family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers who supported him in his final months, including AHN Home Health nurse Heather, physical therapist Megan and aide Terry, as well as Courtney, whose kindness, help, and companionship meant so much to Bill and his family.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317.

A blessing service will be held on Friday, March 27, at the funeral home at 10am, interment will follow with full military honors at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation of Western Pennsylvania (https://parkinsonfoundationofwesternpennsylvania-bloom.kindful.com/).

Mrs. Meier
Life is never long enough and the years pass by quickly, leaving behind only memories. I hope the fine memories of Bill will forever warm your hearts and bring smiles to your faces. May it comfort you to know that death was never God’s plan, (Gen.1:28; Rom.5:12; Rev.21:4) and loved ones will be resurrected (Acts 24:15) with the hope of life forever on a paradise earth, (Ps.37:11,29) as God intended from the beginning. Until then, a fine person rests in God’s loving care. My sincere condolences to the family.

TO: Eric Johnson - PSP Troop E Retirees E-mail database: Hi Eric, It is with a very heavy heart that I just got your email on the passing of The "Q" as we called him. I also just wanted to point out that he served as the patrol sergeant at PSP Meadville for far too short of a time as well and he was loved by all of us. There are so many great stories to tell in the brief time that he spent with us. We were all sad to see him go. Those of us who worked with him at our station talked about him for years after he transferred out. My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at age 62. She had severe calf pain, muscle pain, tremors, slurred speech, frequent falls, loss of balance, and difficulty getting up from a sitting position. She was put on Sinemet for 6 months, and then Siferol was introduced and replaced the Sinemet. Neither standard treatment like B1 and high dose B12 did very little for her. We tried different supplements that didn't work, so last August, our family doctor started her on the PD-5 protocol—the best decision ever! 2 months into treatment she improved dramatically. At the end of the full treatment course, the disease is totally under control. Cases of muscle weakness, constant twitches and tremors eased. My wife has resumed her daily activities. As I share this experience, she’s active again. I’m surprised a lot of PWPs haven’t heard of the PD-5 protocol. We got the protocol from Limit lessnaturalwellness .c om
