William “Bill” Bach, 54, of Bethel Park, passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2026. Born on March 25, 1971 in Pittsburgh, PA he is the son of  Carolyn Penrod.
Bill was the beloved husband of Cheryl Bach, brother of Bonnie Waldo, and devoted dog dad to his three pugs. His is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
After moving to Florida in 1993 to be closer to family, Bill worked and attended school before being diagnosed with kidney failure and beginning dialysis. He received his first kidney transplant in 1998. Missing home, he returned to the Pittsburgh area in 2003 with his dog and his Mustang. In time, his health declined again, leading to more surgeries, dialysis, and a second kidney transplant in 2015. Despite ongoing health challenges, Bill lived a productive and full life — working daily, walking his dogs, caring for his yard, working on his cars, and enjoying hockey. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
All services were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.

Sorry for your loss, Cheryl I worked side by side with Bill back when he worked at Bayer in Robinson. I went to Penguins games with him also a few times. Bill was a good guy and had a great work ethic. He always helped me out in the Bayer warehouse with all the computer setups and tickets. Condolences.

I'm also so sorry for your loss Cheryl, similarly to Brett I worked with Bill at Bayer in Robinson, and also went to a few Pens games with him. He was one of the best hardest working team members I've ever had, he was a blessing to have on my team. He often comes up in conversation as a reference about how he never used his health as an excuse (even when I thought he should) and he had such a great spirit on top of the hard work. Words aren't enough but hopefully they help knowing he meant so much to us as well.

I am so sorry to hear this. I also worked with Bill at Bayer. Even through all his health struggles he always kept a happy nature to himself and a great attitude. He was a really good guy.
