William “Bill” Floyd Snedeker

William “Bill” Floyd Snedeker, age 73 of Eighty Four, PA passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2022. Born on March 23, 1949, he was the son of the late Grace and Sam Snedeker. Beloved husband to Sharon Snedeker for 44 years. Father to Richard and Jolene. Cherished grandfather to 3 grandchildren. Loving brother to Frank (Diane) Snedeker and Andrew (Bonnie Snedeker. Bill will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lillian Judy Snedeker Heck and Joanne Balsinger.

Bill proudly served in the United States Army  as a 589th Engineer during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing softball and was a coach for many years. Bill also loved to golf and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill requests that one may honor his memory by spending time with one’s family or honoring a veteran. We are all just passing through.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. Internment will take place on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 1:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
