William “Bill” J. Glivic, Jr., age 83 of McMurray, PA formerly of Bethel Park, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Born on April 27, 1939, he was the son of the late Rita and William Glivic. Beloved husband of Jeanne Glivic for almost 60 years. Loving father of Michelle (Stan) Syska, Denise (the late Mark) Lucas, Keith (Mary) Glivic, and Brian (Louise) Glivic. Cherished Pap of  Cassie, Jessica, Connor, Kylie, Zackary, Jacob, Mackenzie, Abby, Brayden, Luke, and Maddie. Loving brother of Judy Scheeser.

Bill was a well respected business owner of Bill Glivic Kitchens, where he worked with many customers for over 30 years. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Steelers. Bill was an extremely empathetic and good hearted man, he was always there to lend a helping hand to whomever in need. He loved spoiling and supporting his grandkids and will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 2 PM – 5 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 10 AM St. John XXIII Parish (formerly St. Benedict the Abbot), 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. Everyone please meet at the church. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to Artis Senior Living of South Hills – Memory Care, 1001 Higbee Drive, Bethel Park, PA 15102, (412)-595-8917.
