William Charles Heuber, Jr., age 83, of Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, with his loving wife and daughter at his side.

Born on November 22, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bill was the son of the late William Heuber and the late Betty and Raymond Livingston.

Bill dedicated his life to education and mentorship as a math teacher at Independence Middle School in the Bethel Park School District, where he faithfully served for 30 years before retiring. More than a teacher, he was a positive influence and role model to countless students whose lives he touched with patience, encouragement, and compassion. His passion for working with children extended far beyond the classroom, as he devoted many years to coaching football, baseball, track, and wrestling, always eager to help young athletes grow both on and off the field.

Bill was also a longtime supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, reflecting his generous spirit and deep care for others. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, preparing meals for family and friends, and expressing his creativity through needlepoint and cross-stitch. Whether sharing stories around the dinner table, spending time on the golf course, or cheering on those he loved, Bill found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments.

Above all, Bill was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He shared 48½ loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Karen, whose companionship was the center of his life. He was the loving father of William C. Heuber III and Heather (Chris Cantley) Heuber; cherished grandfather of Justin Toberman; and dear brother of Robert (Sherry) Heuber and Linda Boswell.

Bill will be remembered for his kindness, steady presence, sense of humor, and the lasting impact he made on generations of students, athletes, family members, and friends.

Friends will gather on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care.
