William L. Harden

William L. Harden, age 72, of Penn Hills, was born March 18, 1949, in Charleroi Pennsylvania to Sulvylyty and Harold Harden. He went home to be with our Lord at 9:01am Tuesday, August 24, 2021.  Preceded in death by his father William Harold Harden and brother Colin Davis. William was a guitarist from an early age, while in the Air Force, he worked as an aircraft mechanic. After leaving the service he spent years working as a Sheetmetal worker under Local 12.  In 2014, he joined Petra International Ministries rededicated his life to our Lord and was baptized.   William had a wonderful smile, an astute sense of humor and a quick analytical mind.   He leaves behind his loving wife, companion, and caregiver of 27 years, Jacqueline Harden, his loving son, Andre Harden, and his wife Deangela; his mother Sulvylyty Taylor;  devoted siblings Gwen Williams of Atlanta, Darlene Gould of Dallas, and Sherry Davis,  Faith Stevens of Pittburgh, Clarice Jones of Pittsburgh and brother Wendall Kelly of Pittsburgh;  grandchildren D’kota, DeAngelo, DeMarcus and DeLeah. As well as loving nieces,  nephews, cousins and a host of spiritual family and friends. Private arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township.
