Dear Tannehill Family, Our sincere condolences for the loss of such an endearing man. Although it has regretfully been quite some time since I last saw Bob, I still have vivid memories of his smile, laugh and gregarious nature dating back to my childhood. Bob had a seemingly effortless way of making everyone feel like an old friend. He was surely one of the good guys. Our hearts are with you in this sorrowful time.

Dollie, so sorry to hear of Bob's death. As you know, Bob and I played on the 1950-51 high school basketball team. I always had the highest respect for Bob. He was a fine person and I know you and he had a wonderful marriage. I know you'll miss him dearly, but you'll always have wonderful memories of all the years you were married. Jude and I are doing pretty good. I'll be 83 in January. I'm thinking of you and all the good times we had with our fellow classmates of 1953.

Dollie, my heart sank as Conrad delivered the news to me of Bob’s passing. First I said a quiet prayer and then the flood of such fond memories of you and Bob during the Wetterau years. You both together were always kind and nurturing, plus fun to be around. Forever the handsome couple who loved their family dearly and such fun it was to hear what the kids and grandkids were all doing. Conrad will surely write his own private note to you and the kids but I wanted to tell you on my own how sorry I am and will pray for you and your family. Bob lived a good life and was so fortunate to have you and your whole family. I know you’ll all miss him forever, but will be comforted at the memories. Love, Marguerite
