William W. Shenk

William W. Shenk, age 81 of Lawrence, PA formerly of Peters Township, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Born on December 7, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA. Husband of Susan “Suellen” Shenk. Father of David (Tracy) Shenk, Stacey Mackowiak and Seth (Mandy) Shenk. Grandfather of Amber, Alicia, Krista, Grace and Nicholas. Great-grandfather of Liam and Rowan. William was predeceased by his son-in-law Michael.

William was a volunteer firefighter and fire chief in Peters Township. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2 PM – 7 PM at Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. A service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11 AM at the funeral home. At the family’s request, interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington City Mission or the Benevolent Fund at the Bible Chapel or your local fire department.
