Kathleen D. Clevenger, age 64, of Pittsburgh, died with her husband by her side on December 5, 2020 after a long fight with pancreatic cancer.

Born on February 29, 1956 in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Diane and Hoyt Clevenger.

Beloved wife of Scott Leatherbery for 32 years and partner of 41 years.

Kathleen was a real estate agent for 13 years with Neighborhood Realty Services in Edgewood. She was on adjunct faculty with Robert Morris University for 15 years.

Scott, We are so very sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. Kathy worked tirelessly to help us find our home here in Pittsburgh in 2009. We loved her laugh, sense of humor and truly enjoyed working with her. She had been in touch at times over the years and it was always great chatting with her. Scott, So sorry for the passing of Kathy. Saw her obit in the Post-Gazette. I knew her (and you) from going to see The Houserockers all around Pittsburgh years ago. From what I remember, we became friends, too. She surely was an interesting and complicated person. You were the quiet one. Just watched the tribute and I understand now about her life. Thank you for sharing her life stories. May your memories comfort you.

I’d like to extend my deepest heart felt condolences to Scott. I don’t believe we have ever met; I met Kathy through other friends. It was delightful to see her riding horses and the living care she each and every one of them. She definitely had a joy of life and was a tough woman. Now, she is free of her pain. May she rest easy with the angels.

I am so sorry, Scott. I searched for her contact info to try speak with her 6-8 weeks ago and back in February around her birthday. Couldn't find anything.
