Carmen Shullo, Jr.

Carmen Shullo Jr., age 85 of Oakdale, PA, peacefully entered eternity surrounded by his immediate family on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023. Born February 15, 1938, to Carmen Shullo Sr. and Antonette (Capobianco/ Youngo, Shullo) Yosi in Pittsburgh, PA. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janet (Seibel) Shullo, father of Carmen R. (Maria) Shullo, Stephen Shullo, and Michael (Tania) Shullo. Grandchildren Erica (Cory) Poston, Christin Shullo, Carmen R. (Christina) Shullo Jr., Stephen Shullo Jr., Melissa (Andrew) Culp, Shayla Shullo, Alessandra Shullo, Jessica Shullo, 9 great-grandchildren, Brother Paul (Karen) Yosi and Sister Marty (Nicholas) Gouzoulis.  Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Carmen was preceded in death by his parents Carmen and Antonette, Step-father Frank Yosi, his sister Katherine (Bo) Silvio, daughter-in-law Sandra Shullo, grandson Robert Shullo, and great granddaughter Arabella Poston.

Carmen was known by many and loved by all. He was a loyal and resourceful 33-year employee of J.B. Fay Co. and a longstanding member of Teamsters local 66 Operating Engineers. In retirement he enjoyed life on the river as a dock master, able to do anything and everything for the mariners under his care. Carmen was an avid sportsman, competitive skier, excellent craftsman, and faithful friend. He was exceptionally proud of his family and enjoyed as much time as he could with them. His can-do spirit rubbed off on whoever was in his company, especially his family. Carmen enjoyed life and laughter with all that he met.

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 3:00-7:00pm, followed by a 7:00pm funeral service both at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136.
