Cirio A. Signorini

Cirio A. Signorini, age 77, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 1, 2023.

Born on July 4, 1945, he was the son of the late Nellie Kusz and Cirio Signorini.
He was the beloved husband of Kathie Zacour Signorini for 59 years; loving father of the late Derek (surviving Patricia) Signorini; Previous daughter in law, Deborah Dellorso; cherished Pap of Deven, Anika and Dexah Signorini; dear brother of Ann (the late Bob) Betarie, Janice Signorini, Dino (the late Kristie) Signorini, the late August “Sonny” (surviving Donna) Signorini, Frank (surviving Doris) Signorini, John (surviving Corrine) Signorini, and David (Sheila) Signorini; brother in law of Rick Zacour; also survived by special niece who was like a daughter to him, Amy Zacour Ammons; and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Cirio was an avid sports fan, he loved the Penguins, Steelers and The Norte Dame Fighting Irish. He loved baking for his Sunday dinners with his family.

He graduated in 1963 from Canon-McMillan. Cirio retired after working 35 years for Ironworkers Local 3. He spent most of his years as a foreman at Century Steel.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are welcome Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2-7 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A Parastas service will be held at 6:30 pm. Additional viewing will take place on June 5, 2023 from 9-11 am at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, 601 Boone Ave., Canonsburg, PA 15317. Service will follow. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church.

Dear Kathie (and family), Annie, Janice and Dino: Know that I am very saddened by Slug's death. This is a hard time for all of us as we get older. I'll remember him as he was when we were growing up - always together. Take care and God Bless. Mary
