David Dycus, age 62, of Pittsburgh, passed away after a struggle with colon cancer on August 30, 2023.

Born on March 5, 1961, he was the son the of the late Martha and Charles Dycus.

Loving husband of 32 years to Patty Cano Dycus; adored father of Nathaniel (Sarah Richman) Dycus; dear brother of Lisa (Daryl) And the late Sharon; son in law of the late Henry Raul and Beatriz Cano; brother in law of Gloria (Tom), Jeannie (the late Galen), and Esther (Tom); also survived by nieces and nephews.

Dave had a love for his guitars and Airedale dogs. He was a very quiet man who loved his wife and son. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like extend a thank you to Angels for the Elderly for the daily care provided to Dave, Gallagher Hospice nurses and staff including Paula and Jamie and St. Clair Inpatient Hospice nurses.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.  A memorial service will be held at 5 pm.
