Debora Jean Vadas passed suddenly on Sunday, October 15, 2017,  of Robinson Township, Pa. and formerly of Latrobe, Pa. Age 62. Daughter of the late Robert R. and Emogene (Fedorka) Vadas; Endearing Sister/ Sister in Law of Robert J. (Rob) Vadas and Bonny Young – Vadas, Loving and Adoring  Aunt of Luke and Simon Vadas. Debbie was a gracious and giving friend to so many of her friends. Debbie as her friends and family knew her was always willing to make a warm meal, bake homemade cookies or lend a helping hand. She will be missed dearly due to her generosity and unselfishness. A  graduate of Derry Area High School and Atlantic Aeronautics School of Connecticut.  Master Sergeant Debora  Jean Vadas was a 34 year retired member of the United States PAANG 171st ARW and a retired Army Veteran.  As per Debbie’s wishes, there are no public visitations. A public Byzantine Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated to honor Debbie and her life at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church located in Bradenville, Pa 15620 on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00am officiated by Most Reverend Joseph Borodach  followed by Military Honor Guard Ceremony in the church courtyard.  Family Only Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Joseph M. Somma Funeral Home, Robinson Township.
