Gloria will be missed. She was a wonderful woman. She was caring, and didn't have a bad word to say about anyone.

Will miss Gloria. Had a lot of fun during our working years at Dravo to Metso. Many times afterwards as well. She was the nicest, caring person.

I’m missing Gloria terribly! Especially hard since this was so unexpected. Gloria was a sister to me and an aunt or our son Kenny. There wasn’t anyone we trusted more with our son than her. She would offer to baby sit for us and spent so much time taking Kenny places. He experienced a lot because of her! Before I married Ken, she was my partner in crime and we traveled and experienced many memorable trips. Hawaii, Bahamas, New Orleans, New Mexico, Arizona, just to name a few, and of course, for the big earthquake in San Francisco. Some of the trips were business trips - taking customers from other countries to Niagara Falls. Gloria was always there for everyone, and she never hesitated to give up any of her time. We worked together many years at Dravo and then she worked at Heyl & Patterson with Ken. She also worked at K-Mart for many many years! She even announced our entrance into the store the day we got married. Yes, another story there. Recently we had monthly trips to get our hair done. We would always have breakfast first and then we would go to the thrift store before our appointment. Afterwords we would go shopping. She’s leaving such a void in so many lives. She quickly became a good friend to Ken. She had the ability to make long time friends, and she was always sure to do more for you than you could do for her. Gloria loved all critters. She took care of our dog Buddy at times, and I imagine he came running up to her when she walked through the gates of heaven. Emma will be missing her also, as she always made sure to have treats for her. I’m thankful we went on one last trip, a couple weeks before Gloria suffered a stroke. We went to Titusville and went on a train ride. We also celebrated her birthday! I could go on and on, with so many stories, but I know that there are so many of us who will miss her immensely. Rest In peace Gloria!

My deepest sympathy to Gloria’s family. We grew up in the Ewing Mill Road area and worked at Dravo together. She will be missed.
