Leonard “Lenny” John DeCesare, 64, of Canonsburg, PA, passed away on March 29, 2024. Born on February 14, 1960, he is the son of the late Frank and Anita DeCesare.

Husband of 26 years to the love of his life, Gwenn DeCesare, together they built a beautiful family. Loving father to Francesca and Ava, as well as his fur babies, Simba and Minnie. Brother to Frank (Miriam) DeCesare and Daniel DeCesare. He is also blessed with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Lenny, a fierce loving family man, loved to experienced life and was passionate about everything. He enjoyed his family trips to the Outer Banks and all things Disney. He was the ultimate girl dad, always present for his two daughters.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 1pm to 8pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 1:00 pm at St. Louise de Marillac Church, 320 McMurray Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15241. Everyone please meet at the church. In lieu of flowers and in true Lenny fashion, make a toast to this legend, and his “Wonderful Life.”

Dear Gwenn, Francesca, and Ava. Aunt Pauline and I are so sorry to hear about Lenny’s sudden passing. We will always have fond memories of him. We particularly enjoyed his company at the many family gatherings where his cheerful demeanor was so genuine and respectful to us . He was a good husband, a good dad and a cherished nephew.
