Robert “Bob” E. Yaggi

Robert “Bob” E. Yaggi of Robinson Township passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, April 5, 2024. Bob is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Nichol); his children, Kelly (Tom) Shaginaw, Nicole (Steve) Shurgott, and Rob (Hannah Sizer) Yaggi; grandchildren, Brian, Morgan and Erin Shaginaw, Savannah, Brooklyn, and Jaxson Shurgott; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends and extended family.

He retired in 2019 after working over 50 years in the automotive industry. He also spent more than a decade as a member of the Robinson Township EMS executive board. Three of Bob’s favorite people, his youngest grandchildren, Savannah, Brooklyn and Jaxson, affectionately referred to him as “Bob Bob”. Bob had a personality that was larger than life with an unforgettable smile.

Bob was born in Pittsburgh to the late Albert and Nellie (McGee) Yaggi. In addition, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Albert, John, Darlene Gastgeb, Donald, Betty Lou Hawk, Martha Spader, and Charles “Butch”.

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136, (412) 787-1800. A Mass will be held on Friday, April 12th at 11 am at Archangel Gabriel Parish (St. Malachy Church) 343 Forest Grove Road (Kennedy Township), Coraopolis, PA 15108. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to the Robinson Township EMS, 998 Church Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, or a charity of your choice. Please view and sign the family’s online guestbook at www.pittsburghcremation.com.
