Spencer Lloyd Ulrich, 61 of Glenshaw, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was born December 7, 1961 in Pittsburgh, the son of Charles “Glenn” Ulrich and the late Annette (Landy) Ulrich. Loving father of Erika “Rikki” (Dave) Ulrich and Stephanie (Eddie) O’Brien. Beloved brother of Faye (Frank) Liebro and the late Kenneth (Gayle) Ulrich. He is also survived by many nieces and great nephews.

Spencer enjoyed working out, walking around North Park with his dad & brother, and spending time with his daughters. He loved relaxing & catching waves at the beach, especially the beach of Wildwood, New Jersey. Spencer worked as a glazier in the building trades for almost 35 years. Over the years, he also enjoyed working various jobs at the Pittsburgh International Airport. He loved the atmosphere of the airport and the opportunities that it gave him to travel on a whim. That opportunity led him to his job as a shuttle driver at the Marriott.

Private services were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.

My prayers are with you at this sad, sad time. I didn't know Spencer well as he was younger than me. at family picnics years and years ago, he was too young to play ball with us. Glenn, my heart goes out to you and your family. Wendy Redington ( Protzman)

I cannot imagine your sadness as Spence was loved and admired at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. Every Saturday he would flash a smile and a warm hello. All of our hearts are heavy. Spence was an earth angel watching over many of us, and we were fortunate to have him in our lives. We will ask the angels to watch over his family and share the love and compassion he shared with all of us.

This is such a sad time for all those who knew Spence. I enjoyed every single walk in North Park with him and he put a smile on my face every time. I was blessed to have known him and have him as a friend. The earth is missing an angel, but Heaven has gained one. My prayers go out to Glenn and his family in this very difficult time.

Spence, the world lost an amazing man and we lost a great friend at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. Every Tuesday when I would see you, your smile lit up the lobby and I’d hear “Hey Mel”. I’m so going to miss that smile, Spence. My sincerest condolences to the Ulrich family especially Spence’s daughters and father. He talked about you all of the time and loved you so much. RIP Spence. Love, Mel Koscelnak
