Lori Lynn Mortimore Gamble

Lori Lynn Mortimore Gamble, 48 of Bethel Park, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 28, 2021 surrounded by family, after a courageous and faithful battle with cancer. Born on September 24th 1973 to Jean Mortimore and the late Eugene Mortimore, beloved wife of W. David Gamble.

Lori Gamble was a gifted guitarist and song writer. Her creativity and originality came thru in her music making those who listened feel forever touched by her heart. Lori and her husband David wrote, composed, published and recorded numerous songs throughout their time together.

As an avid animal lover, she had a loving heart for all of God’s creatures especially kitties. Her beautiful Daniel, Amy, Vicky and Samantha made her happy and shared much love and comfort over the years.

Lori is a devoted Christian with a profound love of The Lord. She never waivered in her faith and was happy to share a prayer to all who needed an extra blessing.  A favorite passage of hers is Philippians 4:6-7 “ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Lori is survived by her mother Jean Spreha Mortimore, Husband W. David Gamble, Brother M. Scott Mortimore, Sister in Law Louise Mortimore, Nephew Nicholas Mortimore, Niece Sarah Mortimore, Sister In Law Trudy Gamble; Sister in Law Allison Dailey; Brother In Law Michael Dailey; Nephew Joey McKee;  Niece Rachel Dailey.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 6th from 1pm – 4pm at the Independent Order of Odd Fellows 3684 Finleyville Elrama Road, Finleyville PA 15332.
