Jim V. Carson, age 88 of McMurray, PA passed away in his sleep Christmas morning after a lengthy illness. Born on December 9, 1930 in his family’s farm house, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Nellie Carson. Beloved husband to Theresa Carson for 66 years. Loving father to Wayne (Dawn Marie) Carson and Valerie (David) LoGreco. Dear pappy to Andrea, Ryan, Jim, Jay, and Jennifer.
Jim was a combat Veteran in the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic acts. He was also employed with West Penn Power as a lineman for over 42 years. Jim enjoy riding motorcycles with his son, sailing, camping, and bird, and squirrel watching. Jim also loved cutting his grass. He will be dearly missed.
At the family’s request, all services will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
