John was my assistant superintendent, superintendent, but more importantly, a friend. We worked on many committees at P-O. He will be truly missed. Sylvia...my deepest condolences go out to you and your family.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I send sympathy to you and your family. I had the pleasure of working with John as a teacher and union president here at PO. I have good memories of John as our superintendent. I hope your family finds comfort in your faith during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to all of the Bender family. I have fond memories of hanging out at the Bender home with Valerie in high school. Then John became my first superintendent to work under at P-O. I now think of him often as I can look over and see the former Bender home from my current classroom. Please know that I am thinking of your family at this difficult time.
