Peacefully, at the age of 89, on May 29, 2023, Anna Veronica Marko Fabean of Ingram, has entered eternal life. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward H. Fabean and survived by her children Richard (Margie) Justice, Ginger (Wally) Baluk, and Scott (Tereleigh) Fabean along with her grandchildren, Anthony Nardini, James (Lindy) Justice, Grace (Matilda) Fabean, Cooper Fabean, Marko Fabean, and Maryn Fabean.

Born to Matthew & Elizabeth Marko of Moon Run, PA, Anna is survived by her sister Mary (Walter) Baker and preceded in death by her other siblings, Anthony Marko, Frank (Rose) Marko, Catherine (Walter) Stasik, William (Charlotte) Marko, Elizabeth (Robert) Beck, and Joseph (Colleen) Marko.

She loved her family and prolific nieces & nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. The closeness she felt with them was extraordinary. Her extended “family” and “grandchildren” are Steve & Joette Young, Kanwa & Amanda Nzambi and their girls London, Noelle, and Lillian.

Anna was a true athlete. She was known by many to be “the life of the party” regaling those at weddings, graduations, or any gathering with her rendition of Tiny Bubbles. She was a secretary in the Montour School District at Montour HS, then Burkett Elementary, and retiring from Ingram Elementary. She was a lifelong member of Ascension Catholic Church in Ingram. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Trinity, the parish where she was baptized and married.

In her last nine months. She lived at Sunrise Senior Living. She adored beyond words the many aids, nurses, and staff with whom she developed a tender bond and mutual admiration. She thrived under their loving care. And the friendships she developed there with other residents was remarkable.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136, (412) 787-1800.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 1st at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Archangel Gabriel Parish), 5718 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to South West Meals On Wheels, PO Box 731, Carnegie, PA 15106. Condolences may be shared at www.pittsburghcremation.com.
