Peacefully, at the age of 89, on May 29, 2023, Anna Veronica Marko Fabean of Ingram, has entered eternal life. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward H. She loved her family and prolific nieces & nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. The closeness she felt with them was extraordinary. Her extended “family” and “grandchildren” are Steve & Joette Young, Kanwa & Amanda Nzambi and their girls London, Noelle, and Lillian.

Anna was a true athlete. She was known by many to be “the life of the party” regaling those at weddings, graduations, or any gathering with her rendition of Tiny Bubbles. She was a secretary in the Montour School District at Montour HS, then Burkett Elementary, and retiring from Ingram Elementary. She was a lifelong member of Ascension Catholic Church in Ingram. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Trinity, the parish where she was baptized and married.

In her last nine months. She lived at Sunrise Senior Living. She adored beyond words the many aids, nurses, and staff with whom she developed a tender bond and mutual admiration. She thrived under their loving care. And the friendships she developed there with other residents was remarkable.

My deepest sympathy and fond memories to Anna's family. I had the pleasure of working with Anna at Ingram Elementary. Mrs. Fabean was an incredible secretary and friend, and truly a special person.
