Thomas Richard Ligman, age 70, of Canonsburg, PA, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 4, 2024. Born on November 10, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, he is the son of the late Donald and Helen Ligman.

Beloved husband of Bonnie (Sanders) Ligman. Loving father of Stacey (Dan) Bauman. Brother to his twin, Michael (Cindy) Ligman, Peter (Lynnette) Ligman, Julie (Tom) Browand, Vickie (Jerry) Mattys, and Elizabeth Athanasopoulos. He is blessed with many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

Thomas proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves with the Construction Engineer Corps. He was interested in military history, was an avid and passionate hunter, and a car and motorcycle enthusiast. Tom had a heart of gold — He loved his family, friends, and pets. He graciously gave help to anyone who needed it. He will be sadly, but fondly missed.

Friends and family are welcome for a celebration of life on May 18, 2024, from 11AM-2PM at the Simmons Farm Pavilion; 170 Simmons Road, McMurray, PA 15317. There will be an informal celebration from 11AM-12PM, and a fellowship from 12PM-2PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom’s name can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, https://www.lls.org/.
