Richard A. Spragg, age 77, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on May 6, 2024.
Born on January 25, 1947, he was the son of the late Lillian and Robert Spragg.
He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Nancy “Tiny” Spragg; loving father of Shawn (Jessica) Spragg, Lisa (the late Lee “Uncle”) Nanni and Michael (Taura McCormick) Spragg; Pappaw of Alexander, Zachariah, Mathias, and Katarina Spragg, Rylee Nanni, Mackenzie (Alex) Lakomy, Hunter (Austin), Kendall, Presley, Jaxyn Spragg and their mother Kristin Koch; great grandfather of Graham; step grandfather of Callie and Charlie McCormick; dear brother of the late Robert Spragg and twin brother, Randy Spragg. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Richard loved his West Virginia Mountaineers. Often times, he would be found sitting on his front porch, fly swatter in hand, watching the neighborhood. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
