Donna Madelaine Francis Bucsok, age 75, of Finleyville, PA, was escorted home to the lord in presence of her children and family that loved her – freed from a battle with leukemia that she took on as she did all things: with courage, grace, and a fighting spirit, and now rests in eternal peace with the Lord.

Donna loved the Lord. Not a material woman, a perfect day was spending time with her friends and family. She treasured time in her garden and being outdoors and loved the ocean, but her pride and glory were her children and grandchild. Donna was not afraid of a hard days work, providing for her family through service jobs, self-made business ventures, and caring for elders. But her true passion was realized through her unmatched creativity. She LOVED crafting, putting every detail into handmade cards, Christmas ornaments and so much more.

Born on April 25th, 1949 to the late Joseph and Gwendoline Krawczynski, Donna grew up in Heidelberg, PA. Survived by her brother John (Krump) and Eugene Krawczynski, Donna joins her brother’s David & Joseph Krawczynski in the kingdom of God. Donna is survived by her husband Nicholas J. Bucsok, and two adoring children Eileen Paula Welch and Craig Michael Knox from a prior marriage to Gary L. Knox of Dravosburg, and her beloved granddaughter Natalie Ruth Welch. Donna was also a loving step-mother to Ronald, Mark, and Nick Bucsok and grandmother to Ronnie, Nick, and Collin Bucsok.

A service immediately followed by a celebration of her life will be held from 1-4 PM on May 18th at Rockefeller’s in Kennedy Township. Please leave the black attire in your closet. Donna’s favorite time and place in life were the beaches near her former home in Florida where she will later be interned, and we ask everyone to dress for the beach in her honor. Hawaiian shirts and floral prints encouraged by not required.

In leiu of flowers, the family suggests either a donation of platelets or bring a perennial plant. Donna cherished her garden and we will be planting them in her honor.

I am sure Donna will be glad that friends and family will be gathering to celebrate her life. This year marks the 45th year we have been friends. We have run the full gamut of friendship with all the up and downs of our lives we have shared. I spent everyday for 9 weeks with her. There is a time for everything under heaven. I regret that I will not be able to attend her celebration. I will miss seeing everyone. Love, Bobbi
