Chris S. Bloch, 63 of Castle Shannon, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was born in Washington, PA on February 24, 1960, son of the late Ronald and Isabel Bloch. Chris is the loving father of Nicole (Jay) Webb; brother of Ronald (Sally) Bloch (R. Jeffrey and Lauren) and the late David Bloch (Melinda and Robert).

Chris was everyone’s best friend. He never let anyone’s birthday be forgotten and we are sure he prevented countless arguments by reminding and congratulating anniversaries. Jokes and laughter were always plentiful as he made sure everyone felt laughter and love.

He was honored to help train and coach so many people with the safety and target pistol classes in Mt. Lebanon for many decades. A lifetime NRA member and a Sons of the American Legion, Post 490 in Castle Shannon, he will be missed greatly by so many people from all walks of life.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

Chris was one of my very best friends. Always thoughtful, caring, kind and looked after me. He never forgot my birthday, anniversary dates, or anything else about me. We laughed so much about situations and experiences. He is thought of with much love and admiration. He always knew when to check on me to be sure that I was ok. This is one of the very hardest losses for me and he will never be forgotten. He is in God’s most perfect light now.
