Don Dibert, born August 1, 1939, passed away peacefully at home in Canonsburg on August 2, 2018. Don is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosalie; his son, Don and daughter-in-law, Nancy; grandchildren, Michael and Belva; and great-granddaughter, Sophia. He is predeceased by parents, Arthur and Lyda and sister, Dolores. Don, always the pet lover, kept a four legged friend nearby. Kramer, his most recent companion, really misses him.

Don was an avid motor sports enthusiast. When he retired from circle track racing, he transitioned to collecting, restoring, and driving street rods. Don was a mentor, friend, and hero to many.

Don was on the board of directors of the Washington Cruisers Car Club, a non-profit organization that supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities. As there will not be a viewing/ funeral service, in lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to Washington Cruisers Car Club in honor of Don. Please send donations to Jamie Leichty, Treasurer, 980 Thomas-84 Road, Eighty Four, PA 15330.

A celebration of Don’s life will be scheduled for the fall with friends and family invited to attend and share their favorite Don Dibert stories.
