Donald P. Ruempler, age 72 of Bethel Park, PA passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Born on November 6, 1946, he was the son of the late Bernadette and Harold Ruempler. Beloved husband to Rose Ruempler for 49 years. Loving father to Jennifer Smith, Jill (Rocky Lamonde) Ruempler. Cherished grandfather to Gabrielle and Jack Smith. Loving brother to Deborah (Tom) Tassone. Dear uncle to Amanda Tassone.

Donald loved listening to rock n’ roll and attending concerts. He also cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. Donald will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4 PM – 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. A blessing service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Having the privilege to have known as legend is certainly something one may not recognize initially. Mr Ruempler readily fit this billing. I will miss all that he was.

Words cannot express the sadness felt over the loss of this wonderful man. I am still in shock and the tears continue to flow. Don was my friend, mentor and gave the best hugs. So sorry for your loss and am praying for the Ruempler family????????
