Dorothy Irene (Good) Anderson, 82, formerly of Hastings, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 20, 2020.  She was born October 23, 1937, in Pine Township, Indiana County, the daughter of Blanche Marks.  She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Anderson.

Dorothy is survived by her children Elaine Stevick, Imperial PA; Barbara (Patrick) Hale, Meadville, PA and David (Brenda) Anderson, Glen Campbell, PA.  Her legacy will live on in her 8 grandchildren, Matthew and Alyssa Stevick, Emily Hale; Dustin, Maranda, James, Betha Grace and PFC Edwin Anderson (USMC).  Sister of Roselyn Kieffer, Tonawanda, NY, Harry Marks, Gallitzin, PA and Linda Novotny, Lilly, PA.

Long since retired, Dorothy loved spending time at the Senior Centers in Northern Cambria and Imperial, PA.  She was an avid crafter and crocheted many things for family and volunteer organizations.  She attended the United Methodist Churches in Northern Cambria and Imperial, PA.  She will be missed.  A celebration of her life will be held and announced at a later date.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was such a fun loving person who helped anyone who needed it. We all missed her when she moved from Northern Cambria.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom! This breaks my heart!! Your mom and my mom where one heck of a team!! I know there are know words for the pain but I hope it comforts in your sorrow, brings you strength and peace knowing you are all in my thoughts and prayers!! I guess my mom needed her best friend I would like to believe they are together in the great big kitchen in heaven baking up a storm!!! If there is anything I can do for you please let me know!!
