Dorothy Lee Campbell, age 88 of North Strabane, PA died peacefully on the eve of September 6, 2020 with her loving daughters and nephew by her side.
Dorothy or Nanny, to her grand and great grandchildren was a spit fire. You never know what our little leprechaun would say or do next, and that made her extra special.
A child of the Great Depression, she had many stories to tell of her youth. She was a top notch Histotechnologist, and was taught by Dr. Cyril Wecht who she greatly admired.
She loved her grandchildren, or “dumpling,” Caitlin, Kelsey, and Taylor very much, with her fiery spirit and strong willed attitude she will be remembered lovingly in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
Memorial donations may be made to Allegheny Home Health Hospice.
