Enoch George Engle, Jr.,

Age 73, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully, on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. George was born on December 7, 1938 to the late Enoch George Engle, Sr. and Diana (Bielich) Engle in Beaver County. George graduated from Union (Burgettstown)High School and Beaver County Community College. He served his country in the US Army stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. He is a long time member of The Church of the Covenant, where he enjoyed learning of God’s love and served as a trustee, elder and deacon; he also volunteered his talents of carpentry. George began his career in sales at Industrial Gasket and Shim until he and his partners founded Accutrex Products. He later began Engle Associates as a manufacturer representative. George is survived by his wife Betty Lou Engle; daughter Cindy (Brian) Shaw; granddaughter Samantha; step-children, Kathleen Dougherty, Kimberly Hickman, and Keith (Jessica) Hickman; sisters Pat (Robert) Wilson and Kathy (Robert) Steele; as well as step-grandchildren,  step-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements made by Cremation & Funeral Care by Danielle Andy Belusko, McMurray.  A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 6:00 PM at The Church of the Covenant, 267 East Beau St., Washington, PA 15301. A private Inurnment will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Washington Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post 191 and the American Legion Post 902.  Expressions of sympathy may be given to The Church of the Covenant Memorial Fund. Betty Lou, Pat, Bob and all the Engle family. My condolences to you. Some of my fondest memories of 50's and 60's were those where George was involved. He never turned down a favor and was always smiling and laughing. That's how I will remember him.
