Helen Louetta Johnson, age 96, of Canonsburg called to her heavenly home on April 20, 2024.
Born on March 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Walker McMillan and Margaret Fuller McMillan.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lewis Franklin Johnson; loving mother of Lois (David) Roney, Jimmy (Tammy) Johnson, Faye (Terry) Reese, Louanne (Hugh) Wallace, late Helen (Surviving Clarence) Reed, Lewis (Sandra) Johnson, and William “Wayne” McIntyre; Cherished grandmother of James Sickles, Amanda (Ben) Watson, Brian (Meghan) Roney, Justin Roney, Clayton (Sydney) Johnson, Courtney (Christian) Leonarski, Carly Johnson, Tatem, Caiden, Cameron, and Shaelynn Wallace, Richard Reed, Curtis Reed, Sheena Johnson, Jason Johnson; several great grandchildren; dear sister of Marjorie Bernard, the late Robert McMillan, James McMillan, Ralph McMillan, Joe McMillan, and Martha Moore; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Helen attended The Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, later she was a homemaker. She was a caretaker at heart, whether it was taking care of her family, or all of her friends at the Canon Senior Citizen Apartments in Canonsburg. She was known for her holiday decorating with wreaths and trees. Helen enjoyed shopping and playing cards. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Venice Cemetery.
